Traffic was this Friday morning diverted along Major Roads in Lira Town as the President is expected to be in Lira Town.
Major roads like Ogwang Guzi road and part of Obote Avenue around the Lira Main market were blocked from motorists as the Security personnel took charge of the streets.
Motorists heading to Town from areas like Junior Quarters and Teso Bar branched off around All nations Church and used Olwol Road to reach the town.
Police Patrol cars were visible on the streets.
President Museveni is currently in Lango Sub-region and was yesterday in Oyam District where he conducted a close door Stakeholder’s meeting.
Today, he is expected to address the Public in Agali Sub-county in Lira District.
