Teachers in Kole district have been challenged to acquire computer skills and apply them relevantly to the subjects they teach.

Addressing teachers from Kole district on World Teachers Day at Okole Primary School, Kole Vice Chairperson, Dorine Angela said, there was no way teachers can avoid Information Technology in this current digital world.

Angela urged teachers to embrace Information Technology because of its enormous learning content.

Information Communication Technology (ICT), she said, can provide access to a large range of resources which she said, may not require one to go to a classroom.

However, Tom Richard Ongom, the Chairperson Kole Headteachers Association also advised fellow teachers to get equipped with digital knowledge if they are to cope with the changing trends.
