Security in Lango sub region especially in Kole district has been beefed up ahead of the First Lady’s Visit to the National Instructors College Abilonino today.

The first lady who is also the Minister for Education, Sports and technology Janet Kataha Museveni, will visit the institution to commission multimillion buildings which are now ready for use.

While speaking to Radio Wa news desk, the North Kyoga Police Spokesperson Daivd Ongom Mudong, said that although the area is relatively peaceful they have deployed as a normal routine when key officials visit

He further explained that the region is not immune to any threats that may arise, a reason why security agencies will be available to avert any challenges that may come in.

Over 500 guests are invited including both foreign and local dignitaries and the local populations are also expected to be in attendance.
