Traffic has this Friday morning been diverted along Major Roads in Lira Town as the President is expected to be in Lira Town.

Major roads like Ogwang Guzi road and part of Obote Avenue around the Lira Main market has been blocked from motorists as the Security personnel take charge of the streets.

Motorists heading to Town from areas like ;Junior Quarters and Teso Bar have to branch off around All nations Church and use Olwol Road to reach the town.

Police Patrol cars are visible on the streets.

President Museveni is currently in Lango Sub-region and was yesterday in Oyam District where he conducted a close door Stakeholder’s meeting.

Today, he is expected to address the Public in Agali Sub-county in Lira District.
