Residents of Nakatiti village, Nakatiti parish, Muntu Sub-county in Amolatar district were on Tuesday evening gripped with shock, after 40 year stabbed old man stabbed his younger brother to death.
The deceased Kelvin Ebwongo attempted to separate his elder brother Edunyu Julius who was fighting with his wife.
Edunyu stabbed Ebwongo on the head killing him instantly.
Nyankol Samuel a resident of the area, attributed the incident to the influence of alcohol though the two had some misunderstanding.
He also Condemned Edunyu’s acts saying such acts will leave many women widows and children, fatherless since the deceased left behind two widows and eight children.
The body of the deceased was taken to Amolatar Health Centre IV while the accused is under police custody in Amolatar Central Police Station.
